About Dr. Marino

Dr. Marino is a physician, educator, and the founder of Amnicore Metabolic Health, a physician-led telemedicine practice focused on metabolic and hormonal care for women.

She is also the creator of the ELLEvateHER Project, an educational platform dedicated to empowering women through accessible, evidence-based health information.

With more than a decade of experience in family medicine, Dr. Marino has spent her career caring for women across all stages of life—from reproductive health to midlife hormonal changes and metabolic health concerns. Her clinical work focuses on helping women navigate complex issues such as weight changes, insulin resistance, hormone imbalance, and menopause with evidence-based, individualized care.

Through Amnicore Metabolic Health, Dr. Marino provides physician-guided telemedicine services designed to support women seeking structured medical oversight and long-term health optimization.

Clinical Philosophy

Dr. Marino believes that effective medical care requires more than quick prescriptions or one-time visits. Her approach emphasizes thoughtful evaluation, laboratory-guided decision making, and individualized care plans that address the full picture of a patient’s health.

Her clinical philosophy is grounded in several principles:

• listening carefully to each patient’s story
• using evidence-based medicine to guide treatment decisions
• focusing on long-term metabolic and hormonal health
• prioritizing education so patients understand their bodies and their care plans

Not every patient requires medication—and not every patient will qualify for treatment. The goal of care is always to provide thoughtful guidance, medical clarity, and safe treatment when appropriate.

The ELLEvateHER Project

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Marino created the ELLEvateHER Project, an educational platform dedicated to helping women better understand their health.

Through podcast episodes, articles, and educational videos, the ELLEvateHER Project explores topics such as:

• hormone health and menopause
• metabolic health and insulin resistance
• medical weight management
• lifestyle medicine and long-term wellness
• the emotional and mental aspects of women’s health

The mission of the ELLEvateHER Project is to bridge the gap between clinical medicine and accessible education, giving women the tools and knowledge to advocate for their own health.

Beyond the Clinic

Dr. Marino’s commitment to medicine extends beyond clinical practice. Throughout her career she has worked with underserved communities and supported pathways for students and young professionals—particularly aspiring clinicians of color—to gain exposure to careers in healthcare.

This work continues to shape her approach to medicine and reinforces her belief that education and access are essential to improving health outcomes.

A Personal Note

In addition to being a physician, Dr. Marino is also a mother, wife, and entrepreneur.

Balancing family life, career, and the responsibilities that come with caring for others has deeply influenced her perspective on women’s health. She understands that many women are navigating demanding careers, family obligations, and personal goals while also trying to care for their own well-being.

ELLEvateHER was created with this reality in mind—to support women who want to feel informed, empowered, and supported as they work toward better health.
